Peacock Cape

Inspired by an original Victorian girl’s dress and cape, this cape is made to be elbow length, enabling the wearer to use their arms without the need for armholes. The delicate peacock feathers are set against a natural linen background, that emphasised the beautiful colours. The teal lining highlights the colours of the peacock feathers and provides a flash of jewel-like colour. The single button is an iridescent blue that reflects the colour of the lining. This is an elegant as well as useful garment. It can easily be taken off and put on getting in and out of the car seat or house.

Washing; all fabrics have been pre-washed before use to minimise the risk of shrinkage. To keep your clothes looking fresh, wash at 40⁰ and place on a hanger to dry. Iron with a medium to hot iron if desired.
